Longchamp was founded nearly sixty years ago by the Cassegrain family, who began to sell pipes covered with leather, thanks to Jean Cassegrain’s creative spirit. In 1948, the brand Longchamp was born and the logo, a galloping horse in tribute to the famous Parisian race track, was chosen. Longchamp is still a family company, and today’s president is the founder’s son, Philippe Cassegrain.

Hunt Leather is one of Longchamp’s oldest international customers, importing Longchamp directly for our own stores since 1975. We are proud to have the exclusive Longchamp boutique in Sydney as well as an extremely extensive collection of Longchamp handbags, luggage, wallets, and accessories in our Hunt Leather stores in Melbourne, Brisbane and Balmain.
