Antonini beautiful leathergoods are made in a small village in the hills outside of Florence.
Antonini use only the finest quality soft italian calf leather which is a supple leather in a variety of gorgeous colours. They are true specialists in this unique form of small leathergoods construction, using little or no linings and hand-turning the edges of each piece of leather. As well as the suppleness, we love the beautiful colours and of course, the fact that they are still made by the Antonini family in such a lovely part of the world.
It really is a family firm - with the second generation now involved, based in a small village, with their workshop at the back of the family house, horses out in the paddock, and hills all around. We have visited the workshop many times, and though there is not much English spoken by the older generation, and our Italian is quite rudimentary, it is really a pleasure to know the wonderful Antonini family and to have their beautiful products in our stores.
