Antonini leathergoods are to our specifications in the hills outside Florence.
This family firm only uses the most beautiful soft calf leather, and are true specialists in their unique form of wallet construction, using few or no linings and hand-turning the edges of each piece of leather. As well as the softness, we love the vibrant colours and of course, love the fact that they are still made by the Antonini family in such a lovely part of the world.
It really is a family firm - with the second generation now involved, based in a small village, with the workshop at the rear of the family house, horses out the front, and hills all around. We have visited the workshop several times, and although there is not much English spoken by the older generation, and our Italian is a little rudimentary, it is really a pleasure to know the Antonini family and to have their beautiful products in our stores.
